Regular Meeting of the Council of Young Scientists Held
On 10 July 2026, the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted the regular meeting of its Council of Young Scientists.
The meeting included discussions of PhD dissertation research submitted in the field of Biological Sciences. The participants evaluated the scientific relevance, originality, practical significance, and reliability of the research findings.
The following dissertation works were discussed:
Dildora Amindjanovna Amirsaidova presented her dissertation entitled "Lactic Acid Bacteria as Antagonists of Tonsillitis Pathogens" in the specialty 03.00.04 – Microbiology and Virology. Scientific supervisor: Professor Sh. M. Miralimova, Doctor of Biological Sciences.
Boburbek Umirbekovich Koziev presented his dissertation entitled "Biotransformation of Trace Elements by Lactic Acid Bacteria" in the specialty 03.00.04 – Microbiology and Virology. Scientific supervisor: N. A. Elova, Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD equivalent).
During the meeting, members of the Council of Young Scientists provided comments and recommendations aimed at improving the dissertations. The candidates answered questions from the participants and discussed the scientific aspects of their research.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the agenda items were reviewed, and the corresponding recommendations were adopted.
