What is Agar Art?
Agar art is an art form created using live microorganisms cultured on nutrient media in Petri dishes. Instead of brushes, you use loops and spatulas; instead of paints, colonies of bacteria and fungi.
Every stroke lives and grows, turning into a vibrant image under the microscope… and right before your eyes!
Fun fact: this unusual genre originated in scientific laboratories in the USA and quickly gained popularity worldwide. Today, agar art is not just an experiment but a recognized form of bio-art.
