The Laboratory of Microbiology and Biotechnology of Probiotics was founded in 1965. Its scientific work involves separating lactic acid bacterial strains from various environmentally friendly sources, analyzing their characteristics, and examining probiotic capabilities.

A wide range of probiotic microorganisms are present in the lab sample. The intestinal microflora of young, healthy children, milk, dairy products, the intestinal microbiota of newborn calves, fish, and young poultry are only a few of the sources from which these bacteria have been identified. The vast array of probiotic bacteria in this collection is a priceless tool for microbiology study and experimentation. To assist the treatment of dysbacteriosis of various etiologies, gastric or duodenal ulcers, inflammatory bowel illnesses, and oncological conditions, novel biopreparations and products are being created in laboratories based on local probiotic bacteria with preventative and therapeutic capabilities.

Based on extensive scientific and practical research conducted in the laboratory, a series of groundbreaking pharmaceutical preparations have been developed. These preparations, namely "Lactopropionix," "Lactopropolis," and "Probiocolitis," are based on local probiotic bacteria and hold significant potential in the field of pharmaceuticals. Local lactobacilli strains are used to treat cattle (cows and calves), as is the biopreparation "Imbiokon", which is created from probiotics, on silage and haylage, and as is "Bactovit", an antagonistic additive that prevents and treats dangerous bacterial diseases in chicken breeding and boosts immunity, along with the creation of probiotic feed additives.

The main scientific focuses of the laboratory are:

- Identification, separation, and differentiation of probiotic microorganisms using classical, modern genetic, and biochemical techniques;

Determination and screening of antimicrobial and bacteriocinogenic activity of local probiotic bacterial strains against pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms;

- Creation of ecologically clean biological products that prevent and treat diseases of the gastrointestinal system based on probiotic bacteria;

- Determination of promising properties of probiotic bacteria in animal breeding (silage and haylage), poultry farming (vitamin and protein supplements), and agriculture (biostimulants) and creation of new types of biopreparations;

№FAP 01493 Kutlieva G.J. and Elova N.A. The bioconservant "IMBICON" makes use of local probiotic bacteria. replacements for imported, second-hand conservatives. It is used to prepare a variety of fodder silage and haylage. This bioconservant is essential for the safety and welfare of farm animals.          

FAP № 01679. Kutlieva G.J. and Elova N.A. Probiotic supplement for animal husbandry feed. "Bactovit" is a feed supplement for agriculture and local food production. It was created to ease animal digestion and to substitute antibiotics in feed. Enhancing immunity and safeguarding food safety depend on improved animal health.

IAP 06944. Kutlieva G.J., Kamolova H.F.Turaeva B.I. For usage in agriculture and animal husbandry, the Lactobacillus plantarum strain M-1 exhibits antioxidant and growth-stimulating action as well as activity against opportunistic bacteria and phytopathogenic fungi.

This strain offers potential for the development of potent biologics for use in medicines, animal husbandry, and agriculture. This strain has two active phytohormones, vitamins, and the ability to synthesize amino acids. Biopreparations made from this strain are efficient and safe for the environment.

№ FAP 01512. Kutlieva G.J., Elova N.A. Lactobacilli, yeasts, and spore bacteria can all be grown on an optimal production nutrient media.  This nutritional medium is made from whey, a waste product from the dairy industry. The complex and pricey foreign nutritional media are replaced by it. everything that is now being prepared in the fields of agriculture, animal husbandry, and pharmaceuticals. In the creation of microorganisms, this nutritional medium is frequently employed.

The bioconservant "IMBICON" is successful in creating high-quality, highly nutrient-dense silage and haylage from a variety of nutrient-dense and coarse fodder crops.

Description of the product

In livestock production, the efficiency of livestock products is directly dependent on the nutritional quality of feed, and the quality of livestock products (milk, fat, meat, etc.) is directly dependent on the nutritional quality of feed. A high-quality, highly nutritious forage should be easily digestible and easily assimilated by animals, have a good taste, and not contain substances that harm animals. When fulfilling these tasks, attention should be paid to quality preparation and processing of forages (forages prepared from different products, silage and silage). Economic efficiency:

Under the effect of the bioconservant, the safety of silage or silage is assured, and the amount lost due to rotting or mold is maintained. In 2021, IMBIOKON bioconservant was authorized by the State Veterinary Committee. The "IMBIOKON" bioconservant is covered by Uzbekistan's Intellectual Property Agency patent No. FAP 01493.

Biologically active supplement "ProbioKolit" with the properties of prevention and treatment of intestinal inflammatory diseases

Description of the product

Inflammatory bowel illnesses are one of the most urgent issues facing the world today, thus prevention and treatment are crucial. Even if they are covered by social protection by the state, intestinal inflammatory disorders and oncological diseases are becoming more common in our republic. Bowel cancer and other significant problems are brought on by inflammatory bowel illnesses. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and implement measures to prevent and treat such serious diseases. "ProbioKolit" a biologically active supplement with probiotics is safe, highly effective, and has an anti-inflammatory effect. The biologically active supplement "ProbioKolit" has an antimicrobial, restorative, and positive effect on the human immune system. It is recommended for patients to prevent and treat inflammatory bowel diseases.

Fields of application:

Pharmaceuticals and medicine both use it. Both the prevention and therapy of ulcerative colitis involve its usage.

"ProBioKorm" probiotic feed supplement

Local probiotic nutritional supplements can take the place of different antibiotics that are bad for the body and have an antagonistic impact. ProBioKorm probiotic feed additive technological instruction number TI 03535533-011:2021 was created and authorized. VP 0996-21 is for ProBioKorm's liquid probiotic dietary supplement. The dry version of ProBioKorm probiotic feed supplement was obtained and state registered under Certificate Nos. 000996, VP 0997-21, and 000997. To ascertain and validate the safety of the probiotic feed additive, "ProBioKorm" was sent to the laboratory of the state scientific center "Control of the Quality and Circulation of veterinary drugs, feed additives" under the State Committee for Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Development.
