Discussion of recent scientific research at the scientific seminar
On May 7, 2026, a regular scientific discussion was held at the Scientific Seminar under the Scientific Council DSc.05/2025.27.12.B.21.01 at the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the seminar, doctoral dissertations (PhD) in biological sciences were reviewed for the specializations 03.00.04 – Microbiology and Virology and 03.00.12 – Biotechnology.
Specific discussions focused on the following research works:
Kuzieva Nilufar Khusanboy qizi: "Anticoagulant properties of metabolites from local endophytic fungi";
Sayliyev Mirshod Oktamovich: "Biosurfactants of Bacillus species isolated from oil-contaminated samples."
The seminar members provided recommendations and feedback on the research findings and unanimously approved the progression of both dissertations to the next stage of the defense process.
