In today’s global landscape, the advancement of science and innovation—particularly in microbiology, biotechnology, and environmental studies—requires strong international collaboration. The exchange of scientific knowledge, adoption of advanced technologies, and implementation of joint research projects are essential drivers of scientific progress.
A significant meeting aimed at strengthening such cooperation was held at the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. As part of an official visit, Professor Zhang Guimin from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Professor Shihui Yang from Hubei University, Professor Li Aiying from Shandong University, and Professor Yang Huaiyi from the Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences visited the institute.
During the visit, the parties held introductory discussions and exchanged detailed information on ongoing research activities, laboratory capacities, and key scientific priorities. Particular emphasis was placed on future joint research projects, academic exchange programs for young scientists, professional development, and the commercialization of scientific outcomes.
Following the meeting, memoranda of cooperation were signed to strengthen mutually beneficial partnerships. These agreements will contribute to expanding joint research initiatives and enhancing international scientific integration.
This visit represents an important milestone in strengthening the institute’s global scientific ties and fostering the development of innovative research directions.
