“Modernization of the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan to create an Accredited Microbiological Testing Laboratory (AMTL)”
Within the framework of the unique development project "MUNIS" jointly with the World Bank and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the subproject 01-24 "Modernization of the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan to create an Accredited Microbiological Testing Laboratory (AMTL)" is being implemented at the Institute of Microbiology, aimed at improving the infrastructure and expanding the microbiological research capabilities of the institute.
The main goal of creating the laboratory is to ensure the quality and safety of microbiological products exported and imported to the republic to protect consumers from low-quality goods, as well as to conduct scientific research and develop biological products for the needs of agriculture and pharmacology of Uzbekistan.
The laboratory will be accredited by the State Institution "Uzbek Accreditation Center" for compliance with the international standard ISO / IEC 17025, which guarantees high quality and accuracy of the tests. The created laboratory will also help young specialists confirm the results of scientific research for further use in projects, scientific publications and developments.
